Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are between you and Next Mile Technologies (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and govern your use of the RoadTrip Weather mobile application and related services (collectively, the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Safety first

The App provides informational forecasts only. Always follow local laws, road signs, and official guidance. You are responsible for your driving decisions and must not interact with the App while operating a vehicle.

2. License and ownership

We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the App. We retain all rights in the App. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the App.

3. Eligibility

The App is intended for adult drivers. Do not use it if you are prohibited by law or platform policies.

4. Privacy

Your use is governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the App.
• Do not use the App for emergency response or life-critical decisions.
• Do not misrepresent the App or imply official endorsements.
• Do not use the App in violation of applicable laws or regulations.

6. Service changes and availability

The App may change, be updated, or be discontinued at any time. Availability may be interrupted for maintenance or events outside our control.

7. Third-party services

The App may rely on third-party services (e.g., mapping, weather data, notifications). We are not responsible for third-party content, outages, or terms.

8. Disclaimers

Forecasts can change or be inaccurate. The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Next Mile Technologies and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or end access if the App is misused, required by law, or for security reasons. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections that by nature should survive termination (e.g., disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity) will survive.

12. Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missouri (venue in Jackson County), and you consent to their jurisdiction.
